Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The goal of every living organism, including plants, is to create offspring for the next generation. One of the ways that plants can produce offspring is by making seeds.

Four fetaures of wind pollinated flowers are:-

  1. Pollen grains are very light in weight.
  2. Pollen grains are produced in large amount.
  3. Stamens and stigmas are expised to air current.
  4. No nectar is produced
  5. Flowers do not need to be brightly coloured.
  6. Petals are usually small.
