Porifera is a group of organisms. It comes under chordata [invertebrae]. Porifera are organisms which possess holes on their body ; so are called sponges also. They are non - motile means they do not move but possess locomotary appendages to catch food. They have cellular / tissue level of organism. For example, spongilla.
