poriferans have are commonly known as sponges. these are mostly marine.they are asymmetrical with irregular shape. some are radially symmetrical.central cavity is called spongocoel.the water system of sponges Is called canal system
coelentrates are diplomatic.they are either sessile or free. they are tissue level of organisation
