Heya!!

ur answer goes like this :-

WHAT IS POWER OF ACCOMODATION ?

The ability of eye lens to change the curvature of its eye lens,or to increase or decrease its focal Length is called power of accommodation.

WHY IS IT NECESSARY ?

The position of image is always fixed, why?

It is because image is formed in retina and it is always located at a fixed point.

So,in order to form images of objects at different places in the sane place(retina),eye has to change its focal Length.

This ability of eye lens to change its focal length in such a way that a sharp image of an object is formed on retina is called power of accommodation.

WHAT IS FAR POINT ?

The farthest point up to which human eye can see anything is called far point.

For a normal adult eye,it is infinity.

In myopia, far points of the eye comes closer than infinity.

Thanks

Hey mate !!

Here's your answer !!

Power of accommodation - This can be defined as the power of our eyes to focus images clearly at any distance by altering the focal length with the help of cilary muscles. To be clear it is the power of eyes to make objects clear to our eyes even when the object is far from our eyes or very near to our eyes.

This brings us to the next query that what is the maximum distance that the eye can focus ?

The farthest or the maximum distance that our eyes can focus is infinity during birth. But due to some problems they might get altered with different people

This maximum distance which a normal human eye can focus clearly is called as the far point.

Near point is just opposite to that of far point. The least distance for distinct and clear vision is called as the near point. The near point of a normal human eye is 25 cm. Distance less than the near point can't be seen clearly and casually. The eye takes up some strain to view them.

Hope my answer was helpful to you !!

Cheers !!
