PARAM VIR CHAKRA
It is India's military decoration, awards for the the highest degree of valour or self - sacrifice in the presence of the enemy. Medal is a circular bronze disc of 1.375 inches in diameter and purple ribbon holds it.
In the centre of medal emblem of India is made on a crafted circle and outside the circle replica of vajra is in four direction and other side Param Vir Chakra was written in Hindi and English and it was separated by lotus. Major Somanth Sharma was first army man to receive this honour.
