Hi there,

Definition: Precipitation is a process through which small frozen liquid particles in the atmosphere come down to the earth due to temperature change. This reactions is a very common reaction and occurs all around our surroundings.

Example: Sometimes the pipes in our homes get clogged because precipitates of magnesium and calcium oxides have deposited themselves within the pipes.

I hope the answer helps.

Thanks
