one example of it which also double displacement reaction is-

AgNO3 (aq) + KCl (aq) → AgCl (s) + KNO3(aq)

Here, AgCl ( silver nirate) is the white precipitate.

In the above reaction silver nitrate and potassium chloride are getting displaced to silver chloride and potassium nitrate. Silver chloride is insoluble therefore it precipitates.
