\boxed{Pressure:} When force applied on a body in per unit area, it is known as \textbf{Pressure.}

In other words \textbf{Thrust*} Applied in per unit area is called Pressure .
It is Denoted by P .

Pressure = \frac{Force}{Area} OR

Pressure = \frac{Thrust}{Area}

\boxed{P = \frac{F}{A}}

The si unit is \textbf {Pascal.}

And in MKS system = \frac{N}{{m}^{2}}

And in CGS system = \frac{Dyne}{{cm}^{2}}

\boxed{Thrust*}
It is the force which acts on a body perpendicular to its surface. Unit of Thrust is also Newton (N)

Effect of Thrust depends on the area on which it acts .
