I hope it will help you.....

Pressure is the force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which that force is distributed. Gauge pressure is the pressure relative to the ambient pressure. Various units are used to express pressure.
The same force can produce different pressure depending upon area in which it acts. When the force acts over a large area, the pressure produced is less. Revenue Score: The pressure depends on the number of atoms/molecules in a given space.

Pressure is amount of force exerted on an unit area of surface . Its SI unit is Newton/meter² . It depends on two factors --- i) Force , ii) Area of contact .

Force is directly proportional to force,i.e --- the greater force applied , the greater is the pressure .

Area of contact is inversely proportional to pressure , i.e --- greater the area on which force is applied , lesser in the pressure . For this reason , its is easier to write with sharp pointed (lesser area) pencils while it is hard to write with blunt headed(greater area) pencils.

Hope it helps and Happy Friendship Dayy...!!
