It includes the work that is related to farming. Eg dairy farming, agriculture farming etc

Primary sector is one of the sectors present in Indian economy. It involves the activity of producing goods by exploiting natural resources. E.g. Fishing, Mining. Agriculture is the most visible form of primary sector. This sector almost occupies 65% of the nation's employment share but only producing quarter of the GDP.
