✴The story of Ghori's battle with Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan has been described in the book Prithviraj raso.

✴It was written by Chand Bardai

✴Chand Bardai was Chauhan's court poet.

First battle of Tarain

✴The first battle of tarain was fought in 1191 CE . Ghori lost the battle and he had no choice but to flee back to his country.

Second Battle of Tarain.

✴Ghori, after his initial defeat, returned armed with a mightier army consisting of Turkish and Afghan soldiers.

✴He challenged Prithviraj again in the second battle of Tarain.

✴It was fought in 1192 CE.

✴Prithviraj lost the battle
