• Privilege exists when one group has something has value that is absent in others life, simply because they don't belong to a certain group.

• Their was a long period when white man privileged more than black man.

• Example: A white male with a criminal record, is 10% more likely to get a job over a man of black with clean record.

• Somehow, privileges creates discrimination like,

Barack Obama is routinely identified as a 'black President' and not just ‘the President'. And, a white politician says 'i have the privilege of having a positive relationship with the police' generally.

Privilege, as understood and described by researchers, is a function of multiple variables of varying importance, such as race, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, neurology, citizenship, religion, physical ability, health, level of education, and others.
