Progress is the idea that advances in technology, science, and social organization can produce an improvement in the human condition, and therefore that entire societies, and humanity in general, can improve in terms of their social, political, and economic structures.

Social Change Progress:

  • Social Change is a phenomenon that changes way and order of society.
  • It introduces new ideas and changes the nature, social behaviour and social thinking.
  • Social change that leads society towards a positive direction increases the mind’s broadness, introduces new thinking in society and leads the people to live with more harmony and wealth is called social progress.
  • It is an evolutionary process and is time-consuming.
  • This is important for actual progress of society towards and involvement of newer philosophical ideas.
