what is pros and cons for being a left handed??
Answers
Explanation:
Lefties make up only about 10 percent of the population, but studies find that individuals who are left-handed score higher when it comes to creativity, imagination, daydreaming and intuition. They're also better at rhythm and visualization.
Answer:
pros
I have an advantage in baseball when pitching and batting due to the fact that my pitches are harder to predict and my batting stance is harder to pitch to.
In table tennis, a forehand serve from my left side going across the table will hit a right handed player’s left side.
This makes them resort to a backhand return, which puts them at a disadvantage. As a result, my stronger strokes hit their weaker strokes.
This may apply to regular tennis as well, but I don’t know as I don’t play.
In football, being left handed as a quarterback results in throwing off other players in strategy. My blind side is the weak (or right side, as I turn to my left), as opposed to the strong side.
My throws are also different and I can aim differently.
The same goes for basketball. People often guard my right hand because they see that as my shooting arm.
Little do they know…
You use your right hand much more as a lefthanded person than a normal person would use their left.
I’ve learned how to use my right hand for a few tasks that normally I’d use my left hand for, and my movements are more efficient.
Cons:
All of those sports perks I just mentioned, none of them matter when you can’t find sports equipment designed for left handed people.
Again, all of the pros don’t last forever.
They’re advantages that people can overcome fairly easily given enough time.
Writing often creases as my hand passes through my scribbles.
Small things such as desks and chairs become more uncomfortable in time as they are not built for you.
A nagging feeling that you’re not normal. This persists when people start pointing it out.
