A physically apparent but nonexistentforce felt by an observer in a noninertial frame (that is, a frame undergoing acceleration). Newton's laws of motion hold true within such a reference frame only if the existence of such a force is presumed. Thecentrifugal force is an example of apseudo force.

A Pseudo force (also called as fictitious force, inertial force or d'Alembert force) is an apparent force that acts on all masses whose motion is described using a non-inertial frame of reference frame, such as rotating reference frame.
