Answer:

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour, according to the American Psychological Association(APA). Psychology is a multifaceted discipline and includes many sub-fields of study such areas as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behaviour and cognitive processes.

Their relation/difference and similarities-

One of the main differences between them is that psychology studies the effect of social things on the individual, while sociology focuses on the collective phenomena themselves. So to put it another way, social psychology studies human behaviour on the individual level and sociology on the group level.

Hope it helps!!!
