Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

H^2=s^2+s^2

Where H- hypothenuse

s- side(adjacent)

s-side(opposite)

Example find hypothenuse with sides 4cm and 3 cm.

And.formula-H^2=s^2+s^2.

H^2=4^2+3^2.

H^2 =16+9

H^2 =25

H=√25

H=5cm.

So hypothenuse is 5 cm.

Answer:

Phythagoras theorem says that square of hypotenuse is equal to sum of square of other two sides......

For ex:

find the hypotenuse

adjacent side =6

hypotenuse = 8

 {6}^{2}  +  {8}^{2}  = x

 {x}^{2}  = 36 + 64

 {x}^{2}  = 100

x =10cm
