farhanali272pchibc: Pythagorean theorem, the well-known geometric theorem that the sum of the squares on the legs of a right triangle is equal to the squareon the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle)—or, in familiar algebraic notation, a2 + b2 = c2.

in a right angled triangle the sum of square of two sides forming the right angle is the square of remained side which is hypt of triangle
(hypt)^2=(side1)^2+(side2)^2

Pythagoras theorem was given by a Greek mathematian Pythagoras . it can only be applies to right angled triangles . in it he stated that the square of hypotenuse ( the slant side ) is equal to the sum of the squares of base ( the horizontal line ) and perpendicular ( the straight line )
