According to quantum field theory its a combination of field  theory and quantum mechanics theory the quantum mechanics teaches us about small quanta particles and the field theory teaches about the field of a particular particles thus the quantum field theory teaches about the behaviour or the forming of particles the particles can only form when there is energy in that  field suppose take an example of electron we can see the electron when there is  particular energy to excite the field of electron so all particles has its own quantum field
