Radioactive Pollution➫ The release of ionizing radiation into the environment as a result of human activity.

♦Ex:- Nuclear Explosions

❱ It is increase in the natural radiation levels caused by human activities.

❱ It occurs when Radioactive material is deposited on or in an object or a person. 

➧ Effects of Radioactive Pollution are:-

❱ It can cause cancers, abnormal births, skin diseases & mutations in man.

❱ It leads to leukemia in an individual & even affects an unborn child in the womb.

❱ It cause irreparable damage to DNA molecules.

❱ It leads to a large number of molecules in the body being ionized into free radicals.
