In computer there are 2 types of memories - primary and secondary memory.
primary memory has been divided into two parts - RAM and ROM.
RAM - random access memory. ROM - read only memory. Ram is needed for write and read process.
SRAM - static random access memory , it is needed for its static display. A computer has primary memory still it requires hard disk because hard disk is the one where the data can be stored.
