Reduction is chemical reaction that involves the gaining of electrons by one of the atoms involved in the reaction

reduction for the following metals during their metallurgical processes:

(i) metal ‘A’ which is one of the last, second or third position in the reactivity.

(ii) metal ‘B’ which gives vigorous reaction even with water and air.

(iii) metal ‘C’ which is kept in the middle df activity series.

Answer:

Heya mate'!!

Reduction is the action or fact of making something smaller or less in amount, degree or size

Explanation:

Methods of reduction:-

  1. as A least reactive metals, so they can we find in pure state, they will not be find in combined state bcoz they are least reactive metals, so they are extracted by the process of oxidation.
  2. as B are most reactive metal, they are extracted by the process of electrolysis.
  3. as C are medium reactive metals, they are extracted by

Carbon ore. | Sulphur ore

=>Calcination. | Roasting

then, metal oxides ==> reduction to metal==> refining..

____Hope it helps!!
