Relative motion is the calculation of the motion of an object with regard to some other moving object. Thus, the motion is not calculated with reference to the earth, but is the velocity of the object in reference to the other moving object as if it were in a static state.

Hope it helps u!!☺

Hello Dear

:D

Relative Motion

  • The motion of an object B w.r.t. object A which is moving or stationary is called as relative motion.

  • Relative velocity of an object B w.r.t. object A when both are in motion is the rate of change of position of object B w.r.t. object A.

  • Relative velocity of object B w.r.t. object A, Vba =Vb - Ba

Glad To Help :D
