Dear friend,
Motion is a relative term as we always tell that whether an object is in motion or rest with respect to the surroundings for a passenger sitting in a moving car the driver is not in motion but for a person standing or walking outside the car the passenger and driver both are in motion so an objects motion is always told with respect to the surroundings and that's why it is relative and the same is known as relative motion ( the only term defined for motion i.e. motion of an object w.r.t. to another moving object ) . While the relative velocity is the vector difference between the velocities of two bodies i.e. the velocity of a body with respect to another regarded as being at rest.
HOPE THIS ANSWER HELPS AND IF POSSIBLE THEN PLEASE MARK IT AS THE BRAINLIEST ANSWER.

Hello Dear

:D

Relative Motion

The motion of an object B w.r.t. object A which is moving or stationary is called as relative motion.

Relative velocity of an object B w.r.t. object A when both are in motion is the rate of change of position of object B w.r.t. object A.

Relative velocity of object B w.r.t. object A, Vba =Vb - Ba

Glad To Help :D
