what is resistivity ? By varying the temperature which type of variation will record in resistivity of conductor and insulator ?

Materials that conduct electrical current easily are called conductors . Those that do not conduct electricity easily are called insulators

If temperature increases, resistivity in metal will gradually increase.

If temperature increases, resistivity in non-metal will suddenly increase

When the length of conductor is 1 unit and area of cross section is 1 sq. unit then the resistance of Conductor is called its Resistivity.

As we know that,

Resistance is directly proportional to the temperature. It means that as the temperature increases, Resistance increases and vice - versa.

By Varying the temperature we can get different value of potential.

Suppose if we are in a room and conducting electricity and there is a fan in the room.

Case 1:- When Fan is switched off => When the fan is switched off then there will be a potential.

Case 2 :- When Fan is switched On => Whenever fan is switched on then there will be difference in potential and thus get another value of Current.
