What is resistivity? Write its si unit? On which factor resistivity depends? Explain

originaljustice: hey guys r u slept
originaljustice: resistivity of a material is tendency of that material to resist
originaljustice: the current flowing
originaljustice: it depend on length of wire
originaljustice: cross sectional area of wire
originaljustice: nd temprature
originaljustice: its formula is r=ro×l/A
originaljustice: ro=ra/l
originaljustice: which mean its unit is onm metre

Resistivity is defined as the resistance offered by a cube of a material of side 1 m when current flows perpendicular to its opposite faces.

Its S. I unit is ohm-metre.

It depends on:-

•Nature of conductor

•Temperature

Resistivity : A measure of the resisting power of a specified material to the flow of an electric current. The resistivity of the material is the resistance of that conductor in per unit length and per unit cross sectional area.

The SI unit of Resistivity is a ohm.

Resistivity depends upon the following factors:
1) On its nature.
2)temperature of the conductor.

Hope it helped!!!
