Revamped Public Distribution System (RPDS) is a policy related to the PDS which ensures food security of People of India.

RPDS was introduced in the year 1992, in 1,700 blocks of India .The RPDS is concerned with the target to provide food security in remote and backward areas that were exempted from the benefits of PDS.
