what is reverberation? how it can be reduced
Answers
Answer:
Due to repeated reflection of sound waves, after sometime the source of the sound stops producing sound, this phenomena is called as reverberation. Consider, a source produces sound which gets scattered in all directions in a closed room. As a result, the wave reaches the wall and simultaneously gets reflected and reaches to other wall of the room and so on. Under these circumstances, repeated reflection of sound causes source to stop the producing sound.
Reverberation can be reduced if we can place some sound absorbing materials inside the room like curtains, plastic fireboard etc.

Answer:
Persistence of sound (after the source stops producing sound) due to the repeated reflection is called reverberation. Reverberation can be reduced by absorbing the sound using some materials as it reaches the wall and ceiling of the room and thus prevent the sound from getting reflected.
