As we know that,

There are basically there major types of triangle on the basis of measurement of angles -

  1. Acute angled triangle
  2. Obtuse angled triangle
  3. Right angled triangle

Right Angled Triangle is that special type of triangle in which the measurement of one angle of the triangle is 90 degree.

In such triangle the Pythagoras Theorem can be applied, as Pythagoras theorem is only applied to right angled triangle.
