The Manasabadar was a person who had a positioning or a ranking of a government, whose administrative system (the Mansabdari)worked like this: every civil and military officer was given a ‘mansab’, a kind of rank, and different ranks could be increased by ten were used for high ranking officers. It was meant to fix the salaries and allowances of officers.
The Zamindar was an aristocrat in the Indian subcontinent. ‘Zamindar’ meant ‘land owner’ in Persian. Typically hereditary, zamindars held enormous hectares of land and control over their peasants, from whom they reserved the right to collect tax on behalf of imperial courts or for military purposes.
