Stomata is found in plants. They are small openings which are more in the underside of the plant leaves which are used for gas exchange. Carbon dioxide enters the plant through stomata for photosynthesis and oxygen is released through stomata during photosynthesis. They open in day and close at night. They are supported by guard cells on both the sides for the opening and closing of it. The main role of stomata is GAS EXCHANGE.
