Rolling friction is the force resisting the motion when a body rolls on a surface. It is mainly caused by non-elastic effects; that is, not all the energy needed for deformation of the wheel, roadbed, etc. is recovered when the pressure is removed.

hope it helps you

Answer:

Rolling Friction

The force that resist the motion when an object rolls over another object or another surface is called rolling friction. In fact, whenever required sliding friction can easily replace rolling friction. This can be done by using wheels, roller bearing, ball bearings etc. For example, the suitcases and travelling bags are provided with small wheels. These wheels have very small amount of rolling friction which helps in easy movement of suitcases and travelling bags.

Similarly, roller skates are having small wheels which offer very small rolling friction and helps skater to move fast. Rolling thus reduces friction and makes movement of the object easier.
