A plan which is intended to continue over a span of time and is subjected to usual survey and updating is called rolling plan.
The primary feature of Rolling plans is annual changes in the matter of prices and better economic development could be contemplated.
In 1978 Murarji Desai implemented the rolling plan and rejected the fifth year plan.
