rowlatt act is also known as Black act .It was started in February 1919. In 1919 the British government passed a new law called as rowlatt act. The British goverment gave power to the Britishers that he was arrest and keep them in prison if they are suspected the charges against terrorist.

Gandhiji was extremely argue and critical about this act. He argue to Britishers without any crime they cannot punish any people. This act was ended in 1922.
