.
Answer is :-

✔ Salt Bridge :- A device that is used to provide electrical contact between two solutions i.e. A tube used to connect the oxidation and reduction half-cells of a galvanic cell (voltaic cell), a type of electrochemical cell.

➡ Functions :-
✨ It helps in moving of electrons between two solution.
✨ It helps in maintaining the charge balance.

Hope it helps ☺

Salt bridge is usually an inverted U-tube filled with concentration solution of inert electrolyte . An inert electrolyte is one whose ions are neither involved in any electrochemical change not they react chemically with the electrolytes in the two half cells generally inert electrolytes like KCl, KNO3, etc. Are used.

uses−

.

To connect the solution of two half cells and complete the circuit.

To prevent transference of diffusion of the solution from one half cell to the other.

it prevents liquid-liquid junction potential.
