the solution in which the particles are not seen by normal/naked eyes is called a saturated solution.

a solution in which the particles can be seen by normal/naked eyes is called an unsaturated solution

bhu3rj: I think seeing the particles from eyes might not be true in every situation like if i dissolve something in milk or another solution like it
anjalika32: ok

\underline\bold{Saturated\:Solution:-}

• A solution of solute at particular temperature, which at that temperature contains maximum quantity of solute it can dissolve in the presence undissolved solid solute, is called a saturated solution.

》 A saturated solution is not possible in the absence of undissolved solid solute (saturation of solution is possible when a dynamic equilibrium is established between the solid solute and solute in solution).

\underline\bold{Unsaturated\:Solution:-}

A solution at a particular temperature has lesser amount of the solute dissolved in it than require to prepare a saturated solution at that temperature, is called an unsaturated solution.

》 An unsaturated solution can be converted into a saturated solution by the following process:-

• by adding solute.

• by evaporation of solvent by application of heat.

• by cooling the solution to a lower temperature.
