Satyagraha

A novel method of mass agitation is called satyagraha. It simply implicates that if the cause of protest is true, then there is no need of fighting violently with the oppressor.

This brilliant idea was suggested by Mahatma Gandhi. He had his first successful satyagrahas in India at Champaran, Kheda & Ahmedabad. He had fought the same way in South Africa against the racial discrimination, called apartheid.
