secularism is a practice in which every religion is treated equally. No one is discriminated on the basis of religion.
For example, India is a secular country. Here, we can see a huge diversity between religions. People here are Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. No one is ill-treated on the basis of his/her religion. People in India practice secularism and have thus made India a united yet diverse country.
