SEDIMENTATION

the process of settling or being deposited as a sediment.

"sedimentation occurs when the droplets sink to the bottom"

DECANTATION

Decantation is a process for the separation of mixtures of immiscible liquids or of a liquid and a solid mixture such as a suspension.

FILTERATION

the action or process of filtering something.

"small particles are difficult to remove without filtration"

DISTILLATION

Distillation is the process of separating the components or substances from a liquid mixture by using selective boiling and condensation. Distillation may result in essentially complete separation, or it may be a partial separation that increases the concentration of selected components in the fixture.

HEY USER ,
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

SEDIMENTATION :
It is the physical water treatment process using gravity to remove suspended solids from water. the particles set up from the suspension becomes sediment .

DECANTATION :
It is a process for the separation of a liquids that have different density . for example : mixture of oil and water .

FILTERATION :
It is a process that separates solids from fluids by adding a medium through which only fluid can pass .

DISTILLATION :
it is a process of separating the components from a liquid mixture using selective boiling and condensation.
