Answer:

In the given experiment, a transparent solution is there which is limewater {Ca(OH)2} and on blowing air which contains carbon dioxide, it turns milky and forms Calcium Carbonate {CaCO3).

Ca(OH)2 + CO2 gives CaCO3

This experiment shows that we release carbon dioxide during respiration which combines with lime water and forms a milky solution.

Hope it helps you!

Answer:

it is a reaction

Explanation:

when we blow air through lime water which is also known as calcium hydroxide , the carbon dioxide present in exhaled air reacts with lime water and turns it in milky solution and forms CaCo3 (calcium carbonate) . lets see in reaction :-

CO2(carbon dioxide) + Ca(OH)2 (calcium hydroxide) = CaCo3(calcium carbonate)
