The word segregation means separating others or setting things apart from each other.
Segregation of waste is a process of dividing waste based on if it is wet or dry waste.
Wet waste:- Some of the organic waste which are quite heavy come under this category.
Dry waste:- Waste such as glass, wood , metal etc which are quite strong come under this category.
Not only this but, waste segregation can also be done on considering biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste.
