as there are 23 pair of autosomomes and one pair of sex cell/ germ cell.

females contain XX chromosomes whereas the males contains XY chromosomes if x gets fuses with x then it gives birth o female child and if x gets use with Y then it gives birth to boy child as the determination of sex depends on the male gametes . both have 50 -50 chances for the birth. AS IT DEPENDS ON THE FUSION OF GAMETS
