hello!

Shifting cultivation, also known as slash and burn cultivation, is when a a piece of land is used for a few years until it is fertile enough to give proper yields, and then is burnt on loosing fertility.

This causes pollution, wastage of land.

Shifting cultivation is a type of agricultural in which a ground is cleared for growing crops and after few years it is abandoned for a new area until its fertility has been naturally restored. The negative effect is the large scale deforestation.
