shiwalik range is a himalayan range which lies parallel to the duns(dehradun, patli dun, kotli dun)and the himachal range.it is the southernmost himalayan range in the longitudnal ranges.

the outermost range of himalayas is called as the shiwalik.


Three main features are-
 


 shiwaliks :

1) it is outermost range of himalayas.

2)some narrow valleys are found between shiuwaliks and himachal.

3) it is made of unconsolidated material..
