Single cell protein

Micro organisms like bacteria, filamentous algae etc. Are used as food in various ways. Which are called single cell protein. Micro organisms are being produced as a good source of proteins. Now a days, mushroom is taken as food by majority of people.

Advantage of single cell protein:-
