Well, slope of a function y=f(x)y=f(x) is ΔyΔx/ΔyΔx, but the x-axis never changes it’s y-position of 00; it’s a horizontal line, therefore Δy/Δy is always zero, and Δy/Δx=0Δx=0ΔyΔx=0Δx=0.
