Socialism also known as communism is an ideology of sharing and equality once the country have the ideas of communism the country would be ruled by only 1 man, examples of communist nations are, The Former soviet union, vietnam, cuba and Modern day china communism is divided into many ideologies like Leninism, Marxism, Stalinism, maoism, etc. communist ideas started when a man named karl marx wrote a manifesto explaining how Democracy/Capitalism makes the poor poorer and the rich richer this didn't succced in many countries EXCEPT russia/ russian empire which was underdeveloped and still had serfdom for sometime in the 19th century, a russian man named Vladimir Lenin Read the manifesto and had the idea to make the russian empire communist and make the people's lives and spread it to the world and in 1917 russia saw a revolution and lenin took power and signed a humiliating peace treaty with germany this angerd the russians who started a civil war which soviets won and at the end of WW2 communist governments rose up in many countries and in eastern europe but after the collapse of the USSR and with the end of the cold war the communist governments began to decline, today not many commuinist nations exisist
