Soil conservation---
Simply protection of soil from erosion is called soil conservation.

There are many methods by which it can be done.Some are---

1.Afforestation -
Soil can be conserved by planting more and more trees it is known as afforestation.

2.Crop rotation ---
Sowing of different crops at different times of the year is called crop rotation. Crop rotation always keeps the soil conserved with vegetation.

3.Proper drainage system ---
Proper drainage system is necessary for soil conservation. Drains with concrete Linings can carry rainwater without causing any damage to the soil and thus help in soil conservation.

4.Pasture reservation----
Cattle graze small plants and grass which causes soil erosion. To prevent such soil erosion plant grass and small plant and areas should be reserved for pastures. Also animal to be taken to such place for grazing and not be allowed to wonder.
