soil erosion may be defined as follows -
- it is the removal of the upper layer of the soil subjected to the activity of the water,wind,plants,animals,etc.
- this causes the degradation of the soil.
- this also results in loss of fertility of soil.
- the growth of plants are hampered as a result of soil erosion.
- this also leads to poor drainage.
