Soil-

Soil is the upper layer of earth crust. It is brown blackish coloured containing a mixture of organic remains ( Humus), rock particles, clay and many other organisms

Formation -
It was formed by breaking of rocks by winds, water waves or simply by Weathering of rocks

Factors that decide the structure of soil-

1. Temperature
2. Rainfall
3. Wind
4. Microoragmisms presence

It plays a crucial role in giving habitat of many organisms and most importantly in growth of plant by giving it essential nutrients
